A great service offered by Microsoft, Skydrive, allows you to save/store up to 25 GB in the cloud for free. All you need is a Live account. A neat feature in Office 2010 (available for free to all current students!) allows you to save whatever document you’re working on directly to your Skydrive account.
When you’re ready to save the document go to File > Save & Send – then choose the “Save to Web” option, this will give you the option to log into your free Skydrive account and save the document to any folder, or create a new folder. These files can now be accessed either by going to the Skydrive website or by using the free Windows Phone or iPhone apps.

Beginning 11/22 Google will discontinue support of their official Blackberry app, and stop further downloading of the app itself:
Beginning November 22, 2011, we will end support for the Gmail App for Blackberry (installed native app). Over this past year, we’ve focused efforts on building a great Gmail experience in the mobile browser and will continue investing in this area.
Users may continue to use the app, if installed, however it will not be supported by Google, or available for download starting November 22. BlackBerry users can continue to access Gmail through the mobile web app at http://www.gmail.com in their BlackBerry web browser.
The affect this change will have on NGCSU users is negligible, we have seen a steady decline in Blackberry users over the last year, plus those that already have it installed and configured per our mobile email guide will still be able to use it. Going forward IT will inform users that the only way to access their school email on a BB device will be through the GMail web app.
